No other place can compare to Namibia. It could be the campfire, the scenery, or you made friends with the tracker and the professional hunter. Or it could be the game and the enormous variety on offer, and it will leave you with the desire to come back again.
The Kunene region offers a wide variety of game that can be hunted. Several available game species include zebra, kudu, oryx, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, eland, springbok, warthog, and others.
What We Are About
Hunting
Every hunting safari with Franklin Hunting Safaris in Namibia is customized to your preferences. Due to the diversity of our terrain and trophy species, we prefer to tailor your hunting safari to meet your specific priorities. Following your selection of the species you wish to hunt, we will recommend the number of hunting days needed to produce the quantity and calibre of hunting trophies you are hoping for.
You will not be required to spend a defined minimum number of days hunting; however, plains game hunting safaris and bowhunting safaris typically last between 5 and 7 days.
Sustainability
Hunting licenses are a crucial part of Namibia's Community-based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM), which aims to "promote activities that demonstrate that sustainably managed natural resources can result in social development and economic growth, as well as in suitable partnership between local communities and government.".
Because of this practical program, people seeking a living, conservation, and sustainability are winners. It considers attracting tourists and managing sustainable hunting.
Namibia
Namibia offers visitors a range of unforgettable experiences in various breathtaking landscapes, including thrilling hunts, large trophies, tough stalks, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, fierce thunderstorms, scorching days and frosty nights, flat savannahs, rocky mountains, enormous dunes, and majestic rivers.
On March 21, 1990, it became independent of South Africa. A democratic constitution and a multiparty parliament are under the direction of President Hage Geingob. Mining, fishing, tourism (which includes hunting), and agriculture make up the bulk of the nation's economy.
